The wonder of childhood. My career hasn't just been a series of jobs; it has been a lifelong commitment to witnessing and nurturing the growth of tiny humans. From being present in the room for a newborn’s first breath to cheering on a teenager as they navigate the complexities of high school, I have dedicated my life to being a steady, compassionate anchor for families.
I studied Psychology with a focus on child and human development. While many people learn about development only through textbooks, I learned it through connection by balancing my studies with roles as an elementary tutor, a nanny, and an intern at a local Montessori school. The ability to partner my studies with real world experience confirmed for me day in and day out that my passion was to work with children and families for the rest of my life. These experiences enriched my studies and my studies enriched my passion: it was a beautiful symbiosis that would lead me to a rewarding future.
I stepped into a full-time role as a toddler teacher. There is nothing quite like watching a child’s brain grow in real time as they master a new skill. That lightbulb moment is what first hooked me on this work, and it’s what still drives me today. It may take days, weeks, or months of work, but watching a child reach a goal always leaves me feeling exhilarated.

I knew I needed to see the world through a wider lens. I spent time living and nannying internationally, including a transformative season in New Zealand. Immersing myself in different cultures taught me a vital lesson: there is no one "right" way to parent. By seeing how different cultures approach education and family life, I learned to be flexible, open-minded, and non-judgmental. Thanks to this experience, I bring that same openness and empathy to every family I support.

I wanted to deepen my ability to support families during their hardest moments. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Community Counseling at Johns Hopkins, where I served as President of the honor society and graduated with honors. I’m thankful for the time I spent at Johns Hopkins for showing me everything I was capable of achieving. It encouraged me further to bring my all to every family I support and showed me just how much that can be.

My clinical background allowed me to serve as a mental health counselor in Baltimore Public Schools and family clinics. I worked with children ages 5–17 navigating everything from school-day struggles to complex mental health diagnoses. Whether I’m supporting a child with sensory integration needs or helping parents create an action plan during a stressful transition, I approach every situation with the same philosophy: Every child is an individual and every family deserves to feel heard.

My experience spans the entire developmental spectrum. In Boston, I served as the Director of a multi-age program, where I spent my mornings in the preschool classroom and my afternoons leading school-aged children. This allowed me to see the big picture of a child's day and empathize with how it could feel for them. I wasn't just watching kids; I was planning developmentally appropriate activities and building deep, lasting bonds with parents to ensure their children felt safe, seen, and celebrated.

Today, I continue to work with children in low-income communities because I believe every child deserves a stable, compassionate, and joyful role model. When you invite me into your family's life, you aren't just getting a caregiver with 25 years of experience. You are getting a partner who:
I know that what works for one child won't always work for another.
I am here to observe, model, and support you—never to judge.
Whether it’s navigating developmental delays, learning disabilities, or just the everyday chaos of life, I am in your corner.

While my career has been broad, spanning different cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and roles within a children’s life, it has stayed anchored in my deep appreciation for witnessing and celebrating the growth of the tiny humans who become big humans. When we help children feel heard, help parents feel seen, and build a supportive team we cure generational trauma and build healthier communities. What you do as a parent matters. I hope you’ll invite me to give you the support you also deserve.

I will continue to follow my deep passion for caregiving, supporting, and empathizing with children and parents no matter where that takes me. My hope is that I get to have the joy of doing it with you, too. My goal isn't to tell you how to parent; it’s to join your team, understand your distinctive dynamics, learn what feels safe to you and your children, and support the unique rhythm of your family.
